The Kon-Tiki « The Plastiki Expedition

The Kon-Tiki was an expedition led by Thor Heyerdahl which travelled from Peru across the South Pacific covering 4,300 miles in a bid to explain how the Polynesian islands came to be inhabited. It was also a primary inspiration for the Plastiki mission, find out more below.
